Hi everyone, wanted you to know the update on the property and water situation. It is all still a little precarious. We are still in “emergency mode”. We never leave the property alone; there is always one of us here because it is still too dangerous. The men have not finished clearing off the rubble from the burn site, it will be a few more work days next week. This is not work that volunteers can do.
In regards to Saturday Clean up Day and our water situation: We have leaking joints which may mean that when the plumber comes on Saturday; the joints may have to be fixed before we can get the whole system going and they have dry and harden first. Anyway, for your consolation and personal comfort two porta-potties have been ordered for today and tomorrow.
We have bottled water too.
Cleaning will be difficult if it requires water! We can do a little arranging and sweeping in the cabin for the upcoming groups, but…that is about it unless things change and since they change every 24 hours, who knows it may be all back in working order by the time you come. I will write again tonight to update you.
St. Florien is the patron of fire fighters, and used one single bucket to put out a fire in a whole town. Now I know why only one bucket… he had water problems too. The Lord gives exactly what you need when you need it!
Blessings! Teresa

Wow! What a weekend! From Fr. Dan's Dowsing to Omar's night nailing!
The Green team was in running gear:
Leonard an a well-fed crew finished the construction of a very handsome 'Designs by Gabriel' 16x16 foot storage facility.
Ron installed the new pressure tank and switch for the well in the cabin and finished the line splice below the frost line under the barn kitchen.
Joan commented that she did not know that I could run a backhoe. I didn't either. I was able to follow Fr. Dan's divining to locate where to dig down 5 feet, locate, cap, mark and cover an open water line!
Almost all of the trenching for new electric lines has been covered thanks to Bob, Mike, and a few Eagle Scouts and volunteers. Even Teresa got in on that one last week.
And an entire crew was busy with everything else from shaping up the grounds for Fall to preparing plentiful meals!
We are all most grateful to God for His Grace!
Another Wow! The well is up and running (PRAISE BE!). The pump motor was damaged a bit in the fire and is to be replace shortly! God sure is good!
The pump and motor have been replaced, the well chlorinated, and lines flushed...nice work!
Greetings: The shed is ready for paint. All of the exposed wood that could be found was primed. A small amount of primer remains in the paint can in the shed. Whomever decides to paint should bring their own brushes/rollers. Paint should be available on site by this weekend.
The shed's first use may be housing the furnishings from the great room while the floor is being refinished.regardss Bob Z
